I no longer think of eating as something to do to pass the time, or a social event. Food doesn't control me any longer. Working out has become my social event. I spend my entire evenings at the gym lifting and/or doing cardio instead of sitting at home on the couch. I haven't watched a complete episode of American Idol this year. Which may be a good thing because I heard they all suck!
I didn't have a good week in the weight loss department this week it probably has to do with water retention and the fact that we did a lot more weight training than cardio this week. All I know is my clothes are baggy, my belt is looser, and I feel great. That feeling of hopelessness is gone. I know that by following the program I am eating healthy and by doing the physical activity I'm getting fit. It's about overall personal health so who cares what the scale says?

Starting Weight 380 lbs
Current Weight 340 lbs
Weight Loss To Date: 40 lbs
(Change was less than 1lb this week so I'll just leave it the same)

Just say NO to the Swiss Roll, if you know what I mean. Keep up the good work. Watch out for that Rodney dude, he looks messed up.
