I had a Great week this week. After only losing 2 pounds last week I got my focus back in a big way. I hit the gym hard every day, twice a day most days. In fact I set a clinic record for most Physical Activity points in a week. The program requires that we get a minimum of 2000 activity points per week. Last week I got over 6940 points and according to them no one has ever reported that many points in a week!
Saturday was my birthday, I came close to going out to celebrate but then decided that it just wasn't worth it so I stayed close to home and ate my diet food instead. So far I'm averaging around 5 pounds a week and if I can stay on that track I'm on pace to set another record for this program. The current record is 102 lbs in 21 weeks which is an average of 4.8 lbs per week. If I keep working and stay with the program it is possible that I could break that record! I lost 4.1 pounds this week.
Things are going great, I've got my head in the right place, I'm eating right and getting in shape. It's a good feeling.
Starting Weight 380 lbs
Current Weight 340 lbs
Weight Loss To Date: 40 lbs
(I have now lost over 10% of my body mass)

Go Dog Go! I'm still hitting the gym almost every night (missed one night out of the last 14) and walking at lunch just about every workday. I have seen the trainers at the gym, with a clipboard, booting people around from machine to treadmill to machine, freakin boot camp style! Those guys would not be popular with me. My weight loss has slowed to a crawl, but I am up to running a half mile, and completing 2 miles in less than 25 minutes.
Big D, your weight loss is inspiring to the rest of us fat guys out here. I wish this program was available in NWA. Congrats and keep going strong. Easy on the workouts, though, burnout will happen if you keep going at your current rate.

Slim D,
Keep up the good work. Keep up the working out. I know it will help you stay motivated.
